International importance:
It is included in the 2nd edition of the Red List of Belarus (1993). It is protected in Lithuania and Poland.

Description:
Sloyevishche leprozny (powdery), granular or warty, greenish or glaucescent-gray. Apotetion on the black or brownish-black legs (length of 0,8-1,0 mm and 0,09 mm thick) covered with a dense pale golden or chartreuse raid. Heads are black, round, with a golden-green raid, with a diameter of 0,2 mm.

Rasprostraniyeniye:
Central and Antlantichesky Europe, America, Novaya Zemlya and Australia. In Belarus meets in Brest (Kamenetsky, Pinsky and Pruzhansky districts), Vitebsk (Rossonsky and Lepelsky districts), Gomel (Zhitkovichsky and Narovlyansky districts), Grodno (Svislochsky district) and Minsk (Myadelsky district) areas.

Habitats:
Meets in the fir, fir-tree and broad-leaved, oak and chernoolkhovy forests where grows on bark or in cracks of bark of trunks of deciduous trees, and also on naked wood of trunks and stubs in the woods with the increased humidity of air.

Biology:
Breeds vegetativno and askospor.

Number and tendency of its change:
Meets groups, sometimes forms a continuous cover.

Major factors of threat:
The deforestation, melioration and other economic actions changing the hydrological mode of a habitat.

Protection measures:
"Bialowieza Forest", "Narochansky" (in the reserved territory of Blue lakes) and "Pripyat", and also in the Berezinsky biospheric reserve grows in national parks. Periodic control of a condition of the known populations, the organization of protection of locations in Pinsk and Rossonsk districts, search of new places of growth and, if necessary, the organization of their protection with prohibition of anthropogenous influences are necessary.
