International importance:
It is included in the Red List of Belarus of the 2nd edition (1993). It is protected in Poland and Lithuania.

Description:
Sloyevishche listovaty, rozetkovidny, or an uncertain form, dying off in the center. The top surface glaucous, is sometimes closer to the middle darkening, opaque, seldom slightly brilliant, naked, smooth, to roundish or oval openings, is frequent with golovchato-or manzhetovidno broken off soralyam. The lower surface folded, black, is closer to edges is slightly lighter, sometimes acts in the form of a black border on edge of a sloyevishch, without rubbers. Sorali develop on regional hillocks of blades, is more rare on the top surface of a sloyevishch.

Rasprostraniyeniye:
Eurasia, North and South America, Hawaiian Islands, Madagascar. The area of a look is reduced, in many countries of Europe it is considered an endangered species. In Belarus grows on southeast border of an area. It is noted in Vitebsk (Verkhnedvinsky, Lepelsky, Miorsky, Polotsk, Postavsky and Rossonsky districts), Minsk (Berezinsky, Borisovsky, Logoysky, Myadelsky, Slutsk and Starodorozhsky districts), Grodno (The Grodno, Novogrudsky, Svislochsky and Shchuchinsky districts), Brest (Zhabinkovsky, Ivatsevichsky, Kamenetsky and Pruzhansky districts), Gomel (Buda-Koshelyovsky, Zhitkovichsky and Lelchitsky districts), Mogilev (Osipovichsky district) areas.

Habitats:
Grows in deciduous, mainly old chernoolkhovy prirucheyno-grass (kasatikovy) woods on trunks of deciduous trees (an alder black, a hornbeam, an aspen, a birch fluffy), and also in fir groves on dead wood and trunks of an aspen, unction is more rare.

Biology:
Apotetion are formed very seldom. Breeds mainly vegetativno (sorediya).

Number and tendency of its change:
In the territory of Belarus meets sporadic separate individuals, more rare small groups. Number owing to reduction of the areas of the old-age woods is sharply reduced.

Major factors of threat:
All views of cabins of the wood, drying melioration, economic transformation of lands, excessive recreational loads (trampling) of forest ecosystems, pollution of the air environment (gas contamination), wildfires, windfalls.

Protection measures:
"Bialowieza Forest", "Narochansky" and "Pripyat", and also the Berezinsky biospheric reserve and the wildlife area "Sopotskinsky" (The Grodno district) grows in territories of national parks. Periodic control of a condition of the known populations and the organization of purposeful search of new locations of a look in similar conditions, preservation of the habitats meeting the requirements of a look are necessary for what in places of growth it is necessary to limit recreational loadings and to forbid any silvicultural activity, and also to forbid drying and meliorative actions near its localities.
