Cultural life of Kobrin district

Works since 1985. Enthusiasts and true intellectuals, fans of game in checkers and chess stood at the origins of its education: Vladimir Stanislavovich Vershilo, Vyacheslav Maksimovich Elberg, Stepan Iosifovich Davydyuk. In 1995 to club the rank "national" is given.

Today at club sections work: chess, checkers, healthy lifestyle. One of the main directions of activity of club - promotion of a healthy lifestyle and intellectual rest. Participants of club annually participate in the International checkerboard Etvyz festival in to Drogichina, the Championships, cups of Republic of Belarus on chess and checkers in Minsk and take prizes.

Activity of club includes a number of the actions most varied in form: thematic programs, master classes in game in chess and checkers, information hours, club meetings, quizes, holidays, the presentations, "meetings behind a chessboard", competitions, evenings celebrations of heroes of the anniversary, creative meetings "The club on a visit at club", sessions of simultaneous game, intellectual games that brightness and a variety in rest of participants and guests of club introduces, promotes their intellectual development, makes esthetic impact and stimulates a thinking harmony.
